David McRae

With a career in the property industry spanning in excess of 50 years, David McRae is considered one of Melbourne’s most trusted and leading property professionals. 

As a senior property consultant to many of Melbourne’s leading development firms since the 1970s, David’s career has been extensive with much of it devoted to the acquisition of real estate.  In the 1980’s David led a publicly-listed property development team which was involved in numerous joint-ventures including a number of major Japanese-based companies.  He has successfully owned and operated a Property Valuation practice for over 26 years as well as being a trusted expert witness for numerous court proceedings.

David founded McRae Property Melbourne, a residential-based Buyers Advocacy business in 2001 and more recently McRae Property Commercial, in 2018. His knowledge and experience in property valuation, property development and the broader real estate market has ensured David is recognised as an expert in his field.

When not in the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife, children and numerous grandchildren at his rural property outside of Melbourne.  He is also never far from his trusted comrade and office attendee Mac the blue heeler.
